This octagonal Gothic bell tower next to Valencia's cathedral has 207 steps to the top — and a rule that no building in the old city may stand taller.
Named after its largest bell (Micalet, cast in 1418), the tower's height of 51m equals its circumference — a deliberate design choice. It offers the best panoramic view of Valencia's old town and on clear days you can see all the way to the Albufera lagoon.
