The tallest residential building in the EU stands in a Spanish beach resort town — two towers joined by a dramatic conical link at the top, like a giant tuning fork.
Intempo's troubled construction took 15 years (2006–2021), surviving the Spanish financial crisis and multiple ownership changes. At 192m with 47 floors, its distinctive inverted cone connecting the twin towers makes it visible from miles along the Costa Blanca. The architects reportedly forgot to include elevator shafts in the original plans.
