This pyramidal-topped tower was the tallest building in the UK for 20 years, and its blinking aircraft warning light became an iconic part of London's eastern skyline.
Designed by César Pelli, One Canada Square was the centrepiece of the Canary Wharf development that transformed London's abandoned docklands. At 235m it was the UK's tallest building from 1991 until The Shard surpassed it in 2012.
