One of two fortified towers guarding the famous Stari Most bridge, watching over the emerald Neretva River for five centuries.

The bridge and towers were destroyed during the Bosnian War in 1993 and painstakingly reconstructed by 2004. Locals still dive from the rebuilt bridge 24m into the icy river as part of a centuries-old tradition.
