The oldest stone church in the Philippines has survived seven major earthquakes, multiple wars, and centuries of tropical storms since the Spanish colonial era.

Built by Augustinian friars, the church's baroque interior features trompe-l'oeil ceiling murals painted by Italian artists. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of four remaining baroque churches in the Philippines.
